Bought this to scan page documents and convert text on the page to text in a document. This function does not work so I wasted my money. Do not recommend

Its okay, though not as accurate and dummy-proof as Text Grabber. Hopefully, accuracy and usability will increase with time.

My colleagues use portable scanners to input files to a computer all. This is quite inconvenient, as you have to carry a separate device. With this app, I raise my productivity at times! Now I can scan and send any document only with the iPad, because camera in it is even good to scan documents and recognize text.

I like this scanner more than others. Firstly, it works offline. Secondly, interface is very simple. And, finally, the quality of documents is excellent. So I can recommend this app for people, who works with any documents.

I often meet tasks connected with extracting text from pictures. I couldnt even imagine that now theres app that do it quickly and easily. I just download a picture and then extract the text from it. So handy.

This app is really helpful! Now i can extract texts from photos, which is really good for me. It saves a lot of time and another advantages is that you can use it without internet.

I gave it a newspaper column I had photographed with my iPad Mini camera, and it produced a pile of total gibberish - not a single character was correct! Not even one!!!

All the reviews arent true. The app did not recognize any characters of the simpliest picture I scanned. I paid so much for such junk. Id give this zero star if I could. This type of app specially this expensive should have a lite version to try to see its functionality and capabilities to avoid regrets after purchasing pro version.

Any app that Im dealing with document. Its necessary for me to have the possibility to set passcode protection to prevent others enter to my personal doc. I have this protection with this text extract.

This the best of the several OCR, it provides all the controls needed without unnecessary complexity. It does recognizing right on the iPhone. It doesnt need internet or cell connection. I couldnt resist to recommend this app.

TextExtractor is a good OCR program that lets you extract text from popular image file formats such as jpg and tiff files. It also extracts text from scanned PDF document. You can save the scanned results as a plain text document or even export directly to Microsoft word.

Mobile OCR is a strong competing with other, besides this one is the winner by supporting multi-language OCR text. A simple, clean interface that make me feel great to use it. Nothing else I need with this app than refer it to my friend that I know for sure they will love it!

Extracting text from a picture that I take with my device or from my photo library. I wish this app was there before but I have it at the right time to do the job, so many things to do, it will save me huge time. Keep it up!

Works perfectly. Sometimes I have to scan and email things at work. For one or two pages this is easier to use this app than walk to the scanner
